Editing MACC Jail and Court Support

MACC Jail and Court Support (MJAC) ensures that, when our comrades are arrested at demos in any borough, they are followed through the legal system until they come out safely, whether it be at the precinct, courthouse, or at One Police Plaza. MJAC participants work to make sure that when people come out of custody, their immediate needs are met and that they are offered continued support through the resolution of their cases. For this reason, MAJC is stuctured as a Signal-based phone tree, and is connected be [[MACC Legal]] when support is needed.
As well, MJAC prepares "Freedom Care Packages" that contain Metrocards, maps, food, cigs, literature, and other necessities and distributes them to people getting out of jail to show solidarity and build support.
